This is a blended learning course. 3 days in the centre. We use laser and IPL devices to effectively remove hair and rejuvenate skin to satisfy VTCT requirements. The training is not machine led meaning after completion/certification, you can access any brand/type of machine

Pre requisites:

It is expected that delegates will hold a regulated (not CPD) level 3 or equivalent in beauty/skin, for example, Beauty L3 Access to Aesthetic Therapies, L3 Dip in Beauty Therapy, L2 facial and L3 anatomy.

Assessment strategy:

Assignments x3

UV30468-          Client care and communication in beauty related industries

UV40462-          Management of health and safety and security in the salon

UV40413-          Laser and light treatments for hair removal

UV40414-          Laser and light treatments for skin rejuvenation

Practical Assessments covering:

Hair Reduction- face, body using laser and IPL (light)

Skin Rejuvenation- Photoageing, pigmentation, ageing, acne, using Laser and IPL

Completion:

3 years from date of registration

Tuition:

3 days in the centre

Consecutive or one day per week
