This is a blended learning course. Minimum 4 days in the centre. This course is ideal for delegates wanting to start a career in advanced skin services or gain real qualifications to supplement previous learning and be able to then progress onto level 4 trainings

Assessment strategy:

Units:

• Skin Analysis and Facial Skincare (UBT285): Focuses on understanding skin types, conditions, and delivering facial treatments.

• Consultation and Client Care (UBT286): Teaches client communication, health history taking, and creating treatment plans.

• Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology (UBT287): Covers the body's systems relevant to aesthetic treatments

• Electrical Science (UBT288): Introduces the principles of electrical equipment used in advanced therapies

3 final practical facial assessments

Over arching final exam (multi-choice)

Portfolio of evidence

Practical Assessments covering:

Basic facial and skin care including advanced skin analysis and consultation

Completion:

2 years from date of registration

Minimum 4 days in the centre

Consecutive or one day per week
