Qualification Overview

The Focus Awards Level 3 Certificate in Entry to Aesthetic Therapies (RQF) is aimed at learners who do not have a formal beauty therapy background and wish to work towards further study at Level 4 and above.

Qualification Structure

To successfully complete the Focus Awards Level 3 Certificate in Entry to Aesthetics Practice (RQF) learners must complete 6 mandatory units.

Learner Entry Requirements

Focus Awards does not set any other entry requirements, but additional criteria may be requested or specified by the centre.

Progression Routes

Learners wishing to progress from this qualification can undertake the following qualifications:

• Focus Awards Level 4 Certificate in Dermaplaning Treatments (RQF)

  1. Focus Awards Level 4 Certificate in Skin Needling Treatments (RQF)

  2. Focus Awards Level 4 Certificate in Scalp Micropigmentation Treatment (RQF)

  3. Focus Awards Level 4 Certificate in Chemical Skin Peeling Treatments (RQF)

  4. Focus Awards Level 4 Certificate in Ultrasound Cavitation Treatment (RQF)

  5. Focus Awards Level 4 Award in Facial Anatomy and Physiology (RQF)

Age Ranges

Entry is at the discretion of the centre. However, learners should be at least 16 to undertake this qualification.
